Meet Vulcan, a 5-year-old fawn-colored Huacaya.  Vulcan is sweet and easy going.  He is nicknamed "The Voyager" because he loves adventure!  He will be the first to try something new or go exploring.  Vulcan is the quiet but steadfast ruler of the 'paca pack at Railroad Meadows.

Rufous is a 4-year-old Huacaya with gorgeous, deep brown fiber.  In the sunlight he has a stunning reddish tint.  Rufous is friendly and is often the first to greet someone (or something) new--that's how he earned his nickname "The Ambassador!"

Franklin is a very personable 4-year-old Huacaya with luxurious fiber...dense, incredibly soft, a tight crimp and good brightness.  His fiber is a dream to spin!  Franklin is famous for his kisses and is half of the duo we call "Double Trouble."

Dynamo, or Mo for short, is a 4-year-old Huacaya.  As he matures he is really living up to his name, with a 'dynamite' personality and fleece to match!  Mo is the other half of "Double Trouble."  Franklin and Mo were born on the same day.  They look a lot alike, are never far apart, and  do everything together--like mirror images!  It's clearly a case of "Double Trouble!"

Badger, our newest alpaca to the 'paca pack, is a 9-year-old Huacaya.  He quickly and easily became an inseparable part of the Railroad Meadows herd.  I love the markings on Badger, especially the white beard and 'trim' on his top-knot!  He's been absolutely great around home and did wonderfully at his first public appearance last September!

Tedmund or Teddy for short is the newest addition to my herd. Yes, he is not an alpaca he is a llama but I didn't add him to the herd because of his fiber. Llama are known to be very protective and they will protect their herd in the face of danger. I plan to take Teddy out into the public along with the alpaca to enhance the learning experience, however we are not at that point yet! Teddy came to me as a growing two year old who had never been halter broke. It took time, but he is finally getting the hang of it. Hopefully, he will be able to be making appearances with the alpaca by summer!
